When my daughter was little we would read together. First we read golden books, quickly followed by the Little House on the Prairie series. I am sure that this habit of reading together is what made her the avid reader and adventurer she is today. I always think of my daughter while making these special pocket pillows.

This special pillow is made from a green and brown monkey Flannel and a soft brown and beige paw print flannel. The beige book pocket has a dancing little girl brown sock monkey with the saying "read me a story and sing me a lullaby." At the bottom of the pillow is a zipper closure so that you can easily take your pillow form out to launder the cover. There is a fabric handle at the top of the pillow that is just perfect for carrying the pillow around. The top of the picket is trimmed with green satin blanket binding. The pillows front pocket is 12" by 16" so it is large enough to hold a good sized book.
