When my daughter was little we would read together. First we read golden books, quickly followed by the Little House on the Prairie series. This beautiful pillow is made from quilt quality cotton in a pink with sea blue scales on the front and the back is soft flannel in a deep teal with pink mermaids. The book pocket is white cotton embroidered with a beautiful mermaids splashing in the waves. The pillow is also embroidered with the saying "mermaids read in oceans deep..." The top of the pocket is trimmed with sea green satin blanket binding. At the bottom of the pillow has a zipper closure so that you can easily take your pillow form out to launder the cover. There is a fabric handle at the top of the pillow that is just perfect for carrying the pillow around. This very special pocket pillow will make a memorable gift for some little reader.

The pillows front pocket is 10" by 16" so it is large enough to hold a good sized book.
