This lovely women’s summer pop over top is one of a kind special. The bodice was crafted from a cotton pink flowered on off white scalloped curtain panel. It’s easy on with its gathered elastic top and has a special embroidered pink vintage linen napkin taking center stage in the front. There are wide shoulder straps to help this fit smaller sizes. The bottom edge of the bodice is gently scalloped.
The skirt portion has pieces of a cream colored tape lace tablecloth on the sides and the front and back are pieces of a vintage lace tablecloth. The gathered pleating of the skirt gives it a slight bustle effect. I think these give the piece a Victorian or steampunk vibe. This is the perfect statement altered couture to wear for that special summer concert or wedding.
I have sized this as a 2X, but please check the measurements below to ensure a perfect fit. Wash in cold on a gentle cycle preferably by itself to protect the vintage lace and linens.
