This easy wear button front tunic shirt was upcycled from several men’s shirts and soft cotton tees. The sleeves are petal hard sleeves in shades of red and gray that compliment the shirts red and gray plaid. Notice the two large side pockets in red tee material with special embroidery stitching. The back hem is lengthened using the same upcycled red tee for a soft pleated ruffle.
The sides were widened and made more figure friendly by the addition of pleated black gingham check panels. I love this style as it is a beautiful as it is comfortable to wear. This top is tunic length but does button up the front so wear it open as an over shirt or wear it as a tunic top. The sleeves cover the arms but have a bit of open flare at the bottom for ease and airiness.
This one of a kind top is fully washable and sure to become your wardrobe favorite. I have sized it as a 2X but be sure to review the measurements below to ensure a perfect fit.
